An older black lady came to me in my dreams.. me and my sister went to some sort of public event. There was chairs lined up all I'm a row. We sat next to her.. my sister noticed there wasn't alot of traffic. And I said that's good cuz that means I'm not being followed.. maybe it's over. Me and my sister started playing cards waiting for the event to start. I asked the lady next to us if she wanted to play. She said, oh no I wouldn't want to botha. I said it's not a bother. She said something about 5150 and I said huh? She said you've been receding haven't ya. I looked at her with tears in my eyes and said I never wanted this for anyone and everyone blames me and wants bad for me. She said, oh no honey I think you're my angel. I said how so? She said cuz I'm still trying to figure out how you knew or know. And imma tell all the ppl that you're an angel. I started crying and said I don't even want to know. She said know what? I said how many. She mumbled something under her breath. I said huh? She said 3200. I just started weeping. And then I woke up.
Dreams often serve as a canvas on which our subconscious paints emotions, memories, and fears. Your dream features several significant components that suggest a deeper exploration of self, emotions, and perhaps societal dynamics.
1. The Older Black Lady: She could symbolize wisdom, guidance, and nurturing. In many cultures, older figures represent a connection to ancestral knowledge and life experiences. Her presence indicates that you may be seeking guidance or reassurance in your life, possibly from someone who has faced similar challenges.
2. The Public Event: Public gatherings can represent shared experiences, community, or social pressures. The chairs lined up symbolize preparedness and organized waiting, suggesting that you may feel you are in a transitional phase of your life. This setting might reflect feelings of anxiety about being in the spotlight or how others perceive you.
3. Noticing the Lack of Traffic: This detail highlights a sense of relief and safety. You expressing this thought suggests a desire to feel free from external judgments or fears of being followed, indicating a period where you are trying to escape from past anxieties or pressures that have loomed over you.
4. Playing Cards with Your Sister: Playing cards can symbolize chance, strategy, and the games we all play in life. Since you are doing this with your sister, it suggests a bond and shared nostalgia or comfort. This could indicate a desire for connection and a simpler time amid ongoing complexities in your life.
5. The Conversation with the Lady: The mention of “5150” may echo feelings of vulnerability or crisis (in California, a 5150 hold refers to an involuntary psychiatric hold). This could reflect fears of mental health issues or feelings of being overwhelmed. The lady’s statement about you being her “angel” provides a counterbalance, implying that despite your struggles, you possess a light that influences and uplifts others.
6. The Emotional Exchange: Your tears represent deep-seated feelings of guilt, remorse, or perhaps the weight of responsibility you feel toward others. When you reveal that you never wanted something for anyone, it underscores a feeling of isolation in your suffering. The lady’s response suggests that there is inherent goodness in you that is recognized, even when you feel burdened.
7. The Number 3200: This could represent ambiguous fears, burdens, or experiences in your life. It could symbolize the scale of your worries or perhaps unresolved issues that feel overwhelming. Your reaction of weeping indicates a release of pent-up emotions, illustrating that these numbers and what they represent carry significant weight.
8. The Overall Emotional Tone: Your dream resonates with themes of guilt, isolation, and a longing for reassurance. The older lady's guidance illustrates that even in your struggles, you possess a strong spirit that impacts those around you positively.
In conclusion, this dream can be interpreted as a call to acknowledge your own internal struggles while also recognizing the positive influence you have on others. It may also be an invitation to explore those feelings that prompt tears—a cleansing of sorts—and to seek avenues for healing, whether through conversation, creative expression, or seeking support from those you trust. Recognizing and embracing your role as an “angel” or a supportive figure in someone’s life can be a source of strength during challenging times.
